Computers in classrooms and self-service rooms

Computers in classrooms and self-service rooms are accessible to students and staff of the Université Grenoble Alpes and integrated into the UGA authentication domain.

How to connect to UGA computers?

To access the computer in these rooms, you need your university login details (Agalan).

From these computers you have access to your personal storage space ("Home") where you can keep your files and folders, and to the educational sharing space where your teachers can upload working documents.

These network drives are automatically connected when you log on a UGA computer in the classrooms or self-service rooms. So, you can recover all your documents from one computer to another. Even what you saved on the computer desktop is saved in your "Home" (in the "Bureau" folder of the "O:" network drive). To recover your files stored in "Mes documents", go to "O: \ Mes documents".

To find out more about these spaces and how to access them from a personal computer, consult the "Document storage spaces" webpage.

It’s essential to log off from the computers in the classrooms and self-service rooms when you are no longer using it, and to lock your session if you go away for few minutes.

Please note: when you log out of these computers and if someone logs in after you with their own login details he will not be able to access your documents.

Where to find computer self-service rooms ?

The UGA provides study and computer rooms to help students who don't have either a computer or a good Wi-Fi connection.
